And a belated Merry Christmas! We've had a great holiday, even though Mummy went back to work on the 15th, the series of short work-weeks around this time of year lessened any separation anxiety. Truthfully, it was Mummy who had the most anxiety - Caroline is her usual cheerful self (thanks to Nanny Lorie!). We had some great family time together, including a nice walk today in the snowy ravine.
We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas night at Grandma and Grandpa's in Waterloo, celebrating along with the Theals. We had some great meals and the kids had lots of noisy fun with all the new toys. Hard to choose a winner with so many lovely gifts, but Caroline especially loves the doll stroller she got - anything she can use while in motion is bound to please. Caroline rarely stops moving these days (just to eat and sleep, basically).
We celebrated with the Thorntons on the 27th - here's a shout-out to Steph's brilliant addition of yorkshire pudding to the Christmas feast (but alas, no Christmas Ham :-( ) Check out the cute little princesses wearing matching Christmas shirts. So sweet!
We are busy rooting for the Canadian junior men hockey team (currently up 3 - 1 over the Swiss (tee-hee, the Swiss!)) and teaching Caroline cheers she can use for the Olympics. As you can see, she's all ready with her new jersey. Love to all and we wish you all happiness and health in the new year!
