HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAROLINE!
Yesterday we celebrated Caroline's first birthday! Mom, Dad, Caroline and especially Bear had a great time eating cupcakes and opening presents. It was a lovely weekend, starting with a party on Friday with some neighbourhood children organized by nanny Lorie, featuring balloons, pizza and yummy noodles. On Saturday we picked out a Christmas tree - a big, friendly scotch pine. Caroline loves to look at the lights and ornaments and helped Mummy to decorate. Sunday was the best day of all - Caroline's birthday! We all enjoyed special treats all day long and rounded out the weekend with a family walk through the neighbourhood to check out all the lights and decorations. At her doctor's checkup today she weighed 25 lbs and measured 78 cms. And she didn't cry when she got her shots. Hooray for Caroline!
