9 months old!

Caroline is nine months old today! Since her last "birthday", a third tooth, "Chomper", has joined the other two ("Cobra" and "Fang"), she has learned to go from sitting to her belly and back again, she is waving at everyone she meets (it's like taking the Queen for a walk when she's out in her stroller) and she is starting to pull herself up to standing. Another new activity is rocking back and forth on her hands and knees and just today she seemed to take a few tentative crawls in a forward direction.

Yay Caroline! At her last check-up, Caroline weighed 9.6 kg and measured 29.5 inches - can't wait to see where those chubby thighs ring in at tomorrow's visit!


We ended the summer on a high note - enjoying a week in Grand Bend with Aunt Nicole's brood and Grandma and Grandpa Didyk. Caroline had lots of hilarious fun with her cousins. Mom and Dad thought the weather was great, the beach was nice and sandy, and the ice cream was delicious. Caroline thought the beach was great, the ice cream was nice, and the sand was delicious. Chacun son gout.


Back in town, we recovered from our holiday and took Bear for some Labour Day catch at the beach.


Caroline's first summer was a great one. Here she is waving goodbye to all her summer fun: "Goodbye, summer! See you next year." Next up, Caroline's first autumn with guest stars Nana and Popa in October.
