Caroline is 3 months old! She is 6.8 kg (about 15 lbs) and 66 cm long (just over 2 feet) and is in the 95th percentile for both height and weight. She is getting good at reaching for and grabbing objects and likes to stick things in her mouth once she gets a hold of them. Yum! Caroline had lots of fun at her cousin Dash's 2nd birthday party (sadly, still too young to taste the blue cake!) at the end of February and enjoyed a visit from her aunt Nicole on this past Sunday. Caroline has discovered that aunties' laps are great places for extra cuddles.
She is moving out of the bassinet in Mom and Dad's room to her own crib -- so far so good although last night she chose to celebrate her 3 month birthday by attempting to stay awake until the exact anniversary of her birth at 1:00 a.m. Lucky for Mom she only made it to 12:30.
Caroline is becoming more aware of the world around her and now notices when Mom and Dad have a camera in their hands. All smiling stops as she concentrates on figuring out what that shiny metal thing is. As a result, we are catching lots of silly faces when we try to snap her smiles. Still very cute, of course!
