Despite her young age (or perhaps because of it), Caroline has been convinced by Dad that the Maple Leafs are the Best Hockey Team ever. Caroline is unapologetically True Blue. Mom still holds out for the Sens, but clearly the playoffs will not be of great interest in the Marshall household. But Caroline does not care because her life is a swirl of parties and fun times. Caroline is now beginning to explore the world around with her hands - reaching and grabbing at her toys and attempting to stuff them in her mouth. She smiles and squeals and makes Mom and Dad laugh. She is also sleeping better at night.

Last weekend the Thorntons came over for a pancake brunch party - the kids enjoyed playing with each other and the dogs enjoyed playing with the leftover bacon. Christine demonstrated future babysitting skills by holding Caroline on her lap and being very gentle. Dash - ever the gentleman - blew air kisses to his little cousin. Caroline also had more visits from Grandma and Grandpa Didyk who had to get in a few more cuddles before leaving on their big trip.

We are all looking forward to warmer weather even though Caroline looks totally cute in her snowsuit. We feel jealous of Nana and Papa Marshall whenever we see the B.C. weather reports!
